The Lancer Update and Lancer Sports Update are new ways that we will stay connected to you. These will be short, no longer than one minute and thirty second videos. The Lancer Update will feature news about the Capital Campaign project, what is happening in the classroom, student and teacher bios, information and features about different groups and clubs at MLHS, and much more!


The Lancer Sports Update will feature highlights from sporting events, coach/ player post game interviews, practice mic'd up, and more! Both of these are hosted online via Facebook and Instagram. But here is the great news, If you are reading this message you can see the videos. You are not required to have an account to watch. If you are prompted to either login or open a new account; bypass that by clicking the X in the corner of the box that popped open.

MLHS Call Update


On Saturday (10/28), the Board of Control issued a call to Pastor Brett Krause (left) to serve in our theology department. Pastor Krause currently serves as Zion, in Denver, CO. Please keep Pastor Krause and his family in your prayers as he now deliberates this new call.






On 10/17, Mr. James Otto (below left), our English department chairmen and teach

er, fall play director, and forensics coach, received a call to serve in the English department at Divine Savior Academy in Sienna, Texas. Please keep James, Jackie and their daughters in your prayers as they now deliberate where to best serve.


On 10/15, Mr. Nathan Gurgel (below right), who teaches our business courses and freshman physical education, as well as leading our Student Council, Business Club, and Broadcasting Club here at MLHS has received a call to serve in a similar capacity at Luther Prep. in Watertown, WI. Please keep Nathan in your prayers as he considers where to best serve.


 

School Pictures

We do not have order forms to order school photos, We take the photos free of charge and you are allowed to download and print the photos at your own from wherever you choose. The photos are now available. For digital copies of student photos please click HERE.

Part-time Afternoon Preschool Assistant Position Available: Jesus‘ Lambs of Grace (2426 N. Rapids Rd., Manitowoc) is looking for one or more people willing and able to assist with the care of children during the afternoon hours of 1:00-5:30pm Monday through Friday. This shift could be split if we have more than one person interested. If you, or someone you know, over the age of 18, loves working with kids, has one or more afternoons available, and would like a flexible part-time job, please contact the preschool at 920-482-0001 and ask for Peg Janke.

First German 150 Year Celebration of the Sanctuary

Sunday, November 12, 2023 First German Lutheran Church is hosting two special worship services (8 & 9:30AM) with guest preacher Pastor Norv Kock, music from the MLHS Lancer Singers and specially featuring the FGLS students! A FREE, catedered pancake breakfast will be served from 9-11:15AM, freewill offerings appreciated.

The 2nd Annual St. John- St. James Craft show

Saturday, November 4th from 9:a.m – 2:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. Food and beverages will be available. All of the craft items are handmade. Items include: Stained Glass, Crocheting, Acrylic paintings, Jewelry, Canned goods, Cards, Home Decor, Wood Items, Maple Syrup, Bakery, Wood Carvings, Religious Books and much more!
