Lancer Wrestling has a rich history, something that the team has built on this year and will continue to for years to come. One record that is the envy of many wrestlers is the season pin record, and here at MLHS, that record has been held for 26 years by two former Lancers. The pin record was set in 1998 by Troy Waack and matched in 1999 by Ryan Welsing with 27 pinfall victories. For over 25 years, Troy and Ryan could claim that record... but it has fallen. This season, Emett compiled a 34-8 record with 30 of the victories coming via pinfall. With the record in hand, Emett's season continues next at Valders High School on Saturday, February 22, for the WIAA Sectional wrestling meet beginning at 10:00 AM. GOOD LUCK, EMETT!!
